SAFETY TIPS
Please read carefully
We want you to get the best out of your candles and in addition to standard safety guidelines here are a few tips:
Ensure the wick is kept trimmed to approximately 5mm in length to control the flame height and burn time
Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and animals
Avoid burning candles in draughty areas to ensure an even burn
Never leave a burning candle near to any flammable items/materials
Burn candles for 3 – 4 hours at a time to achieve optimum burn and longevity
Always place candle on a heat resistant stable surface
Never move a burning candle due to risk of glass becoming hot. Wait until candle has cooled down and wax hardens to safely move
Avoid leaving candles in direct sunlight as it may cause discolouration and soften the wax
All our candles come with a safety label, this is to ensure all our customers are well informed on the correct use of our products
Due to the handmade nature of our candles, colour and finish may vary. Air bubbles and irregularities in the wax is a natural occurrence when wax is poured and then cools down. The cooling process can cause the wax to pull away from the sides of the glass slightly and changes in surrounding temperatures can also cause this. It will not affect your candle and once lit and the wax warms they will disperse.
